Monstera Lovers.

Updated: Jul 29, 2019

Thinking of adding a Monstera to your plant family? We got you, Vancouver!

We are fully stocked with Monstera Deliciosa! Currently available in a 10" grower's pot. They are roughly all 2 feet tall and growing quickly! Nice and full with lots of new leaves unfurling.

Also known as a Split Leaf Philodendron, this easy houseplant should be on everyone's list! They are fast growing, and can quickly fill up that space in your home.

LIGHT:

Medium to bright indirect light to thrive. Lower light levels can be tolerated but will result in slower growth and less 'splits' in the new leaves. Direct sun can scorch the leaves.

HUMIDITY:

Average home humidity is fine, but they will thrive in higher levels and warmer temperatures. They also appreciate a weekly misting!

SOIL:

Monsteras enjoy a well draining soil - add some peat moss in a rich potting soil. Always pot into planters with drainage holes.

GROWTH:

They love to climb! Once they get to a certain size, moss poles are a great option for support. They're new vines will climb right up it. Perfect to fill in a bright corner next to a window. Typically repot every two years or so.

WATER:

In the warmer months, water when the top 50% of soil is dry. In fall and winter, water less often - when the soil is just dry. The best way to check is by sticking your finger into the soil.

TIPS: Leaves can collect dust and can be wiped with a soft cloth and water.

Check out this easy-care plant! They look beautiful in any home, and add the perfect pop of greenery.
