Variegated Hoya Carnosa.

This variety has pale green and creamy white leaves, with green edging.

Hoyas are great climbers, and will happily climb up a trellice. You can also keep them in a hanging basket, or potted on the edge of a shelf for them to trail down.

Light: Hoyas thrive in bright light, with some direct sun. More light means more opportunities to flower, although the plant needs to be atleast 3 + years old before they flower. South or West windows are ideal.

Water: When soil is just dry. Because of their succulent-like leaves, they are somewhat drought tolerant and can handle being on the drier side. Water even less in winter months when growth is slowest.

Humidity: Normal home temperature and humidity is fine for hoyas, however they will thrive in more humid environments.

Soil: Drainage and well draining soil is key for a hoya. African Violet soil is a great option, even with some added sand or perlite.

This hoya comes in a 4" plastic growers pot (last photo). White decorative pot in photo not included.
